Ironclad Dreadnought

Hey folks!

Despite the crushing heat in my painting room, I picked up this guy almost on a whim on Friday and painted him up. He was a fun model to do, and I gotta admit I'm tempted to try another one (maybe a Salamanders one or something).  Very pleased with how he turned out. I painted up all the weapon options as well so he's very versatile. Hope you like him. And of course, he's ebay bound tonight.

Work continues on my Imperial Guard (and tons of Terrain too). All the guardsmen are done but need static grass, so no photos yet. Basilisk is basically done, needs crew. Vendetta done. 2 sentinels almost done.  The problem I'm facing now is: how to transport!?  It seems like most of the bags I have won't be able to handle this army. Even Battlefoam (the 420 I think) is too small. Major mistake I made: glued the wings on the drop ships. That was really stupid. Much harder to transport them, but I love the paintjobs so far and don't want to re-do them. But will probably have to.

Sorry the image is so big. I'm gonna have to make it smaller lol.

Wow! Nicely done. The weathering looks great. If you painted him green I could of added him to the Salamander force.

Hey man, thanks! Yeah but would seem strange to paint up a dread for your army and put it up for sale... :)
