Hey folks!

So my little obsession with War of the Ring continues - I'm still working on a large Isengard force. So far I have 48 Uruk Hai (scouts, pikemen and sword/shield) done which is 6 companies (oh and a company of 6 warg riders). They are still kinda WIP because the bases need cleaning up and grass applied. I want to photograph the finished models when they are in textured movement trays. For now, here's a distance-shot of all the Uruks so far. Still lots of them to paint, too!

And yet, I went and bought some Warriors of Minas Tirith and Army of the Dead models. Gotta have someone to fight right?

Every day at the store I have another look at the Army of the Dead box... I think it was destined to be my WoR army. Loving your Uraks! Nice and pointy :)

Cool! I really like those models - in fact, just picked up another box of them with the new banner bearer they just released. And Gandalf on Shadowfax and some Minas Tirith knights!
