Hey folks,

Was gone most of the week traveling on business, so not much painting done. I did pick up the War of the Ring book and wow, it looks fun! Sooooooo.....I picked up some Isengard guys to kick things off, lol. So far I have Fighting Uruk Hai, an Isengard Troll, and Saruman. The Uruk Hai I think will be very very easy to paint quickly with my usual metal techniques (as usual I'll be going for a nice tabletop standard).

Never thought I'd be back interested in these LOTR figs like this! But wow that WOTR book is sweet.

Annoyingly, when I picked the troops up at GW tonight they had no Inantry Trays left. I was looking forward to laying them out in a nice textured tray!
