Vlad von Carstein

Call me crazy but I think this is one of my better pieces in quite some time. I opted not to attach the extra skull to his cape as I like him better like this. I wanted to give him a gradient backdrop but Photoshop isn't getting along with the horn on his shoulder and his sword.

Great job on this! Beautiful, indeed. I love the sword, the gems, the armour, and the skin in particular. All the colours work really well together.

The one thing that I don't like are the red faces on the cloak. I would want the colour slightly more blended, so it would more appear like they are "emerging" from the cloak, and not "attached" to it. If you understand what I mean?

Awesome job, all in all! Glad to see some updates from you, too. :)
