So here's a falcon I did up for the army, and this is much truer to what I pictured the army looking like - basically a much darker purple, contrasted with this beautiful Jade green.  I used an airbrush so the purple has pretty subtle blends - probalby too subtle ...maybe I have to take it a shade lighter on the raised areas. Overall, though, I'm very happy with it. I also have 6 fire dragons nearly done (~ 80%) although they are done in the traditional aspect colors of orange and yellow.  By the way, I intend to add runes/transfers to this.

Looks good, Jarrett. The shade of purple is a lot closer to the infantry I think. Gems look good too. I think you might be right with the airbrush though, a few more bright spots would make the edging seem a bit more natural. It looks a lot like Mark's Scorpion that's in the Kingsway shop.

I ahve seen that color scheme before on eldar. I will attach a link to the site. I think he has been painting them that color for awhile. Way before the Eldar got the revamp.

Actually I think I'm going to paint the aspect warriors in their traditional aspect colors in most cases. The rest of the army includes fire dragons, banshees, dire avengers, wraithlord, 3 war walkers, forgeworld avatar, 20 guardians, autarch...buncha stuff :)

Sounds good to me :) Are you fond of the new Banshees? I like *parts of them better than the previous ones, but overall I'm not so sure.

I guess they are ok - mostly it's that they came in the army deal. Mine were mispacked so I'm waiting on a few to be sent to me.

I think your purple does need some more highlighting. with your aspect warriors, even if you use the "classic" colours, I think you need to incoporate some of your army's colours into it. Loincloths / hair /weapons whatnot. but that's just me
